TETRATHLON.

Tetrathlon is coming to Hill Farm EC August 20th to 24th.
Pony Club Tetrathlon is very much like Modern Pentathlon, which some of you may have seen at the Olympics. Tetrathlon provides members with a challenging competition, requiring sound practical horsemanship and general athletic ability.
There are 4 elements to the competition Running, Swimming, Shooting and Riding x country.
At Hill Farm EC we are offering 5 days full of Fun, Riding, Jumping lessons, camping, laughs, training, team work and finishing off with a Tetrathlon competition. The children will have the same horse/pony for the 5 days.
Camp nights Friday and Saturday. Food provided ( please let Hazel know of dietary needs)

For ages 8-24 years. Riders must be able to trot, canter and jump. Novices welcome. Riders will be put into small groups. Limited space available.

Please dress for the weather. Lessons will still go ahead in wet weather, a waterproof coat and trousers and a spare set of clothes are recommend. Sun cream is also advised.

If you are using your own riding hats it must conform to the current hat standards. This will be checked on your arrival. If you do not have your own hat, hats are available. Body protectors and ridding boots must be worn.

Please bring a packed lunch, snacks and drinks in sealed containers.
